Barracuda Point Dive Site

Barracuda Point is located approximately 4.5 km offshore from Beruwala and is an exciting rocky dive site suitable for all levels of divers. The dive begins at a gentle 7 meters and descends to a maximum depth of 27 meters, making it ideal for both training dives and fun dives.

This site is well known for its pelagic action and rich marine life. Divers frequently encounter great barracudas, giant trevallies, giant tunas, large groupers, octopus, and impressive schools of reef fish moving around the dive site. On days with good visibility, it’s possible to explore nearby rocks and reefs adding variety and extended exploration to the dive

One side of the main rock features healthy, fast-growing hard green corals, a strong indicator of a thriving marine ecosystem. With its mix of depth variation, marine encounters, and rugged underwater terrain, Barracuda Point offers a rewarding and dynamic dive experience off the Beruwala coast.
